It's starting to look a lot like Christmas morning at the Salvation Army. But believe it or not, they're still short presents for their angels.
The Salvation Army says, they're worried about getting all the gifts in time for the distribution, which is less than a week away. This year, the
Salvation Army is helping about 850 families and more than 1,800 children. That's about the same as last year.
"As you see there are a lot of empty spaces here and nothing on the tables because the community, some of them, grabbed an angel and didn't bring back the toy or whatever they want to bring to the kids," said Lt. Al Porras.
The Salvation Army says they are still confident in the community.
You can bring your donations either to their distribution center at 744 Smithfield Avenue or you can just drop them off directly at the Salvation Army.
