It's not your typical fundraiser or auction. The Rotary Club of Frederick County is bidding for good this month.

And their bids, will make a difference in our community.

The Rotary Club set up an online auction and has nearly 80 items up for bid.

From luxury vacations in the Caribbean to getting your oil changed, there is something for everyone.

They say that having an online auction increases the amount of money they're able to give to charities because they're not hosting an event.

"It's all about getting the word out and people networking with their circle of friends and then reaching out to their circle of friends. And the next thing you know, you accomplish a viral mass, a critical mass out there and get the website out to people. It's a great thing," said member, Jim Stutzman.

Some of the money raised will go to the international 'Stop Hunger Now' initiative and the rest will go to CCAP Winchester.

"I believe the community will reach out and to see what is available that they can purchase maybe for Christmas presents or something for themselves. But also knowing in the long run, it's benefiting us," said CCAP president, Fran Ricketts.
