Crews are back out doing work near Handley High School.
A few weeks ago, they temporarily fixed a collapsed storm water pipe that runs underneath Handley Boulevard at the corner of Steward Street. They're replacing the old metal pipe with a concrete one. It's about 50 feet of new storm water pipe. They're also fixing the storm water inlets, one on each side of Handley Boulevard. That's how the water gets underground when it rains.
The road going up to Handley will be closed Monday September 8th, but will re-open when students head back to school Tuesday September 9th.
