UPDATE: Police Investigating Fatal Fire

UPDATE: The Fauquier County Sheriff's Office confirms that 48-year-old Winchester Star reporter, Sarah Libbey Greenhalgh, was killed in a fire that happened Monday morning.

It happened on Dunvegan Drive in Upperville in Northern Fauquier County. During firefighting operations the Greenhalgh's body was found in the house.

Her body was taken to the Office of the Medical Examiner in Manassas, VA where she was identified.

It's not known yet how Greenhalgh died, but her death is being investigated as a homicide. She lived alone in a house she rented along Dunvegan Drive.

Police are investigating a house fire that happened on Donvegan Drive in Upperville, VA.

According to Lieutenant James Hartman with the Fauquier County Sheriff's Office, during firefighting operations the body of a white female was found in a bedroom.

It is believed that the body found was a reporter for the Winchester Star.
