A tractor trailer flipped on its side on Route 50 near Gore Wednesday afternoon.
Vickie Conneway says, she and her husband were behind the trailer when the accident happened. She says the trailer was coming down 259 and attempted to turn on 50 to head back towards Winchester. She says, that's when it rolled over.
"There's already been three wrecks here within a month," said Vickie Conneway of High View, WV. "I think one guy or lady got killed about a month ago. Then there was a wreck last Thursday. Somebody came off 259 and hit the bank over there and now this one, which hasn't even been a week later."
"He was unconscious for a little bit," said Richard Conneway
High View, WV. "I couldn't get in the passenger door. It was locked so we ended up pulling the windshield loose. Got the windshield out. He came to, and we did talk to him a little bit. We did get him out. He had some cuts and bruises for the most part he didn't look too bad."
The driver was taken to the hospital. He is expected to recover from his injuries.
It took about four hours before the tractor trailer was cleared from the road.

UPDATE 1:45 p.m. : The driver of the truck that overturned on Route 50 near Gore has been taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
It happened when the driver tried to turn from Carpers Pike on to 50 toward Winchester.
Crews are working to get the truck back on its wheels.

Frederick County crews are responding to an accident on Route 50 that has one lane on the westbound side shut down.
Dispatchers say a tractor trailer is overturned on Route 50 near Carpers Pike just outside of Gore. There are injuries being reported.
We have a crew on the way to the scene for an update.
