A new cell phone tower may be coming to a part of Frederick County that needs it most.
AT&T wants to build a 200-foot tower at 141 Fairview Road near Gore. The county's historic resources advisory board has been looking over the plans to see if the tower would impact the historic value of the area.
Studies show that site isn't part of a battlefield of any kind. There are a few historic houses in the area that are being considered in their meeting Tuesday night.
