There are new details about an accident that took the lives of three people Wednesday in West Virginia.
The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office says 26-year-old Rafael Montalvo Cosme was driving a 2000 Gran Prix when he drove off Interstate 81 and into a tree in the median near mile marker ten. The impact cut the car in two and killed Cosme along with 24-year-old Ella Renee Cook and her three-year-old son.
Deputies say speed was a factor in the crash.
