The James Wood High School Girl's Basketball Team warmed up in shirts honoring their classmate and fellow athlete Hunter Crane.
Crane crashed his car in West Virginia earlier this week and died at the scene.
The orange shirts that the girls were wearing had Crane's name of them with the number 49. That's the number of his race car, just one of the sports he enjoyed.
Crane also played football at James Wood High School.
The school also had a moment of silence in honor of the 18-year-old.
A Facebook page made in his memory has more than two-thousand "likes" as of Friday evening.
