UPDATE:

A man was found dead in a Frederick County quarry Friday night.

Police have not released his name, but they say he was in his forties.

County Fire and Rescue department says two women at the scene reported the man they were with, disappeared in the quarry around 8 o'clock that night.

They say they do not know how he came to be in the quarry.

Rescue crews searched for his body for about an hour before finding him.

An autopsy will be done this week in Manassas.

We're getting reports that two people got out of the water, but they're still searching for a 50-year-old man.

Frederick County Dispatch reports that crews are responding to a missing person in water.

Crews responded to the quarry near 360 Ebert Road around 8:30 Friday night..
