Two Martinsburg police officers were called to a house on South Georgia Avenue Friday morning for reports of a woman with a gun.
When they arrived a woman reportedly opened the door and pointed a 40 caliber Glock at them, they shot back, killing the woman.
West Virginia State Police are investigating and the two officers are out on administrative leave.
