Local Students Organize Celebrity Softball Game For Charity
The game is being spearheaded by Sherando senior Joe Demski, a member of the GIS program.
The game is Saturday at 2:00 at Sherando Park, field one and the public is invited to attend.
As per park rules, tickets will not be sold but donations will be taken at the gate. All proceeds will go to Area 13 Special Olympics.
As part of the GIS program, students perform community outreach programs and Demski pushed for a celebrity softball game as the fundraiser this spring.
