A Winchester native is using her skills across the globe to help those less fortunate in South Africa.
Rachel Miller's trip with Project HOPE allowed her to create a program that helps severely impoverished women in the country.
She says it was a really humbling experience.
"It's definitely a humbling thing to be in a third world, and definitely makes you appreciate everything you have and the things you sort of take for granted," said Rachel. "For me, it was a really great career move for me. I feel like my confidence and competence really grew from this experience."
Project HOPE is known for improving the lives of people around the world.
