Kids in our community continue to give back.
Kindergartners from Lighthouse Baptist Academy delivered 40 boxes of food to C-CAP. All of the students at the school took part in collecting donations, but the kindergarten class donated the most.
Charles Sartor is the Director of the school, and he says teaching kids to be good citizens is all a part of the curriculum.
"Our "Servathon" is serving others through Jesus name. We're teaching the kids to help others. One of the ways would be to collect and help with the Thanksgiving and Christmas season for C-CAP."
He says if the kids learn this lesson now, it will be a natural thing to do when they're older.
