Lord Fairfax Community College held its annual LFCC's Got Talent show, but this year they did something new. They raised money for a good cause.
About ten students signed up to strut their stuff in the McCoy Theater at Lord Fairfax Community College.
Most of the students prepared a song to sing but others just wanted to show off their talents.
The performances were judged by a panel of celebrity-impersonating judges and all proceeds went to the United Way.
Cheryl Thompson-Stacy is the President at Lord Fairfax Community College and she says United Way does good work and the school wants to do whatever they can to help raise funds for the organization.
"We appreciate the community's support for United Way. It's such an important cause for everybody to participate in."
The grand prize winner was Brian Huntsberry. Andy Neatrour came in second place and Joe Turner received third place.
LFCC's Got Talent is an annual event, so if you missed it this year you can check it out next year.
