The students at LFCC have voted on a new mascot.
The school's athletics teams will now be known as the LFCC Lions.
After an online competition, the winning entry received 54% of the votes from students, faculty, and staff.
The school also has a new logo that was designed by Aaron Riddle who is a graphic design and digital media specialist at LFCC.
Before the change, the teams were referred to as the LFCC Cannons.
