'Tis the season to be jolly. What better way to accomplish that than joining in on the Holly Jolly Old Town Celebration?
It's happening all day Saturday December 15th. The City of Winchester recently hired an events coordinator to generate more activities in downtown Winchester. This is just the start of many more new events to come.
"We've been able to gather some existing activities as well as some new ones and create a great Holly Jolly Old Town Celebration inviting the entire family down to just enjoy," said Old Town Special Events Promoter Dario Savarese. "From carriage rides to the carolers to this Victorian Candlelight Ball, there's a lot of fun activities."
The 2nd Annual Victorian Candlelight Ball is being held at the First Presbyterian Church from 6-7 p.m. Carolers will be performing all along the mall from noon to 7 p.m. There is also going to be a Holly Jolly March and Santa Stomp. That starts goes from 5-6 p.m. and starts at Sweet Caroline's on Cork Street. Money raised through this event goes to benefit the Evans Home.
The carriage rides are free and there will be a ton of holiday treats!
