Hagerstown City counselors appear ready to take the next step in keeping the team there.
They're preparing for a Tuesday evening meeting and will be talking more about paying for the prep work for a new stadium for the Suns. The City of Hagerstown would spend more than $4 million on this part of the plan. That money would be used to buy the property for a new stadium, the design of a new stadium and site preparation.
