If you live in Front Royal you may have been concerned about the quality of your water, but it turns out it's fine.
Town Manager Steve Burke says in a recent water testing there were signs that something could become a violation of the water quality in town. After more testing, they didn't have any violations.
The town has to test the water about 100 times a day, and one of those tests came up with a potential violation of organic carbon.
"It's simply similar to a warning light going off in your vehicle that says there may be a problem you should check. It allows our plant manager and operators at the treatment plant to be a little more vigilant and aware of what's going on," says Steve Burke.
The water was never unsafe to drink. Whenever there is a water violation or signs that there could be a water violation, leaders in Front Royal have to tell the public.
