It's been one week for Handley High School's new principal.
Jesse Dingle has more than 25 years of experience as an educator. 20 of those years he spent in Wake County. He says he can sum up his first week as Handley's new principal in one word...awesome.
"I love everything. I go home with a big smile on my face because I had such a good day at Handley. I wake up in the morning very excited about coming back. I have a wonderful teaching staff. I mean truly they are just wonderful people. The support staff is great. And the kids, oh my gosh, they're polite. They want to learn. It's just a great place to be," said Dingle.
Dingle has a wife and two daughters. He says they're enjoying the beautiful outdoors of the valley.
