Soon, if you head to the skate park in Warren County without a helmet, you could face a fine.
The county is working on getting a bill through the General Assembly that makes it illegal to skate without a helmet.
Right now, if you're caught without a helmet, you can be banned from the park for a week.
If the new law is passed, police will be able to enforce it, and you could face a $25.00 fine.
Leaders say it's more about public safety than it is about making money.
