Family Given a Home After Trailer was Destroyed by Storm

Updated: Mon 11:44 PM, Jul 09, 2012

An incredible gift for a Frederick County family whose home was destroyed when a tree fell on top of it last week.

Monday night, that same family is thanking an anonymous donor, who gave them back their life.

The Williams family moved into a new home... right next door to the one that the tree still sits on.

Angela Williams says, she and her husband never expected such generosity from the community, let alone someone buying them a trailer.

While they're very grateful to the anonymous donor, they tell us that they're overwhelmed by all of the help theyve gotten.

"People we don't even know. You know it's one thing when you have close friends, they're usually there for you, but when someone's a total stranger... that's different. It's amazing to me the fact that now when I look in this little home. There's a piece of everybody. There's a piece of strangers, that I'll always remember," said Williams.

The Williams family is hoping the tree is removed from their damaged home so they can get to their most important belongings like family photos, documents and keepsakes.
