Prices at the pump have been consistently rising since January, but that hasn't slowed folks down from traveling this Easter weekend.
According to AAA Mid-Atlantic, if the trip is three hundred miles or less round trip, it only costs about five dollars more than it would have at this time last year. Folks passing through won't let the additional money get in their way.
"The price of gasoline, it's a crime what's happening, but at the same time, it won't keep us away from family," said Pittsburgh Natives John and Louise Dudas.
"We used to go down probably once a month, now it's once every six months because of the gas prices. It's insane, but, they can't keep us down. We're still moving," said Al Molyneaux (Traveling from Binghamton, NY)
AAA also warns drivers to be careful and obey all traffic laws especially when passing through construction zones.
