An assisted living facility in Warren County is being put on hold.
The developer, Betty West, is waiting to hear back from the town of Front Royal, because she has requested to have public water and sewer for the proposed facility.
Leaders at planning and zoning say, the assisted living facility would be at the corner of Harmony Hollow Road and Harmony Orchard Road.
"The assisted living facilities and nursing homes that we have in the community, town and county, most of them are actually almost at capacity," said Director of Planning and Zoning Taryn Logan.
There has been opposition in the area. Some folks who live near the proposed facility want specific conditions for the permit. A decision could be made in either February or March.
