In the northern valley, classes are beginning Monday at Lord Fairfax Community College in Middletown.
LFCC was recently named the fastest growing community college in Virginia. Leaders are expecting about 7,500 students for the upcoming school year.
Surgical Technology and EMT programs are new programs available for those heading back to school.
