Frederick County and State Police responded to a crash on Front Royal Pike (522) and Papermill Road Monday evening.

State Police tell us a tractor trailer forced a car off the road... and the driver of that car, is now in the hospital.

According to State Police, a tractor trailer switched from the left to right lane on 522 South at Papermill Road.

The truck's lane change caused the driver of the car to run off the road and into fencing outside the Shenandoah Memorial Park.

When TV3 arrived to the scene, Mary Kenney of Stephens City was just transported to Winchester Medical Center for minor injuries.

The driver of the tractor trailer, Jeffery Nienstedt of Martinsburg, is charged with unsafe lane change.
