Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative representatives say all hands will be on deck until all the power is restored.
The electric cooperative brought in more than 200 workers from outside it's organization. Mike Aulgur with SVEC says they started booking hotel reservations Friday night for the workers from out of state. At least two people work just on the logistics for situations like this one.
"Obviously our linemen they go home, but we have many crews from 15 other cooperatives in addition to three contractors. Those guys need rooms. They need to be able to sleep somewhere during their downtime. So the rooms. The meals," said Aulgur.
Aulgur says right now, their crews are dealing with the most difficult parts of restoring service that they've seen since Friday.
