This is the only traveling replica of the original Liberty Bell of 1753.

It is one of 70 exact replicas commissioned at the time of our bicentennial by the daughters of the revolution.

David and Phyllis Hall are taking the bell 1,350 miles from their home in Fort Worth, Texas to stand it beside the original bell for two days, later this week.

"We will be going to Philadelphia to place the bell alongside the original sacred icon of 1753," says David Hall, who owns the Freedom Bell replica.

Accompanied by the Patriot Guard the entire way, the halls will be taking the bell to visit 106 year old World War II vet, Frank Buckles in West Virginia to let him ring it, on their way to Philadelphia.
