CLAYPOOL HILL, Va. (AP) -- Police are renewing their plea for the
public's help solving the slayings of two workers at a Tazewell
County pizza restaurant nearly a year ago.
Sheriff H.S. Caudill says detectives are still following up leads in the case. Caudill says they're also working closely with the Virginia State Police and Commonwealth Attorney Dennis Lee.
But Caudill says people should call with even tidbits of information.
The bodies of 52-year-old Harvey Looney and his wife, 48-year-old Valerie Looney, of Bandy were found at the Pizza Plus in Claypool Hill in late March 2009.
Police said at the time they believed the motive was robbery.
