Camp fantastic is anything but ordinary. It's a summer camp for kids who have cancer.
Friday was this year's last day for the campers -- the campers who were welcomed Sunday by 1980's Television star, Erik Estrada.

When TV 3 talked with Estrada Sunday, he spoke of his excitement to be a part of this.

"Mr. Lenny Millholland deputized me, and he also knew I was coming in the area for two charities, and put my time in in Bedford County with ICAC -- Internet Crimes Against Children -- and then I was coming up here and I was planning on going home early, today, but he said, 'Can you do me a favor," and I said, 'What do you need?'"

Camp Fantastic has been around for more then 25 years, serving children from all around the commonwealth who suffer from many forms of cancer. Triana Jones suffers from hodgens lymphoma. She says this is her first time at Camp Fantastic. She also says in her week at the camp, she's made friends who've changed his life.

"We become friends because we have something -- one thing in common," Jones said. "We just go off of that and keep going."

Camp Director David Smith says just like Triana, most of his campers build lifelong friendships at camp fantastic.

"When kids are being treated with cancer, they're still kids, and they just want to be kids," Smith said. "Camp gives them two things: it gives them the opportunity to get out and try things they've never tried before, and set aside self imposed limitations where they didn't think they'd be able to do something."

Erik Estrada led more than 100 bikes from Winchester's Harley Davidson, Sunday to Front Royal where they escorted the 103 children to Camp Fantastic.
