Women from your community are helping build a house for a less fortunate family in Winchester.
Saturday, 15 women helped put up drywall in this house on West Lane in Winchester.
Local High School students are also pitching in to help build the home.
Women build is getting involved in this construction as part of national women build week.
"What, I think, we're finding is women really want to participate in the building of these homes because what they're doing is making a difference in the lives of the people who become owners of these homes."
Supplies were donated by Lowe's.
Women Build Week is a national campaign by Habitat for Humanity to get more women to help out at different work sites.
More than 1,400 houses have been built across America as part of the women build effort.
The Winchester-Frederick County chapter is also finishing up construction on a home in Stephens City.
