In may we brought you the story of a Frederick County couple who encountered construction chaos when building an addition on their home.

The company they hired, Mt. Carmel Construction, Inc., was in court Tuesday afternoon on violations brought by Frederick County.

The county argued the company was in violation of building code by non-completed construction.

However, the county could not go forward with the case.

Frederick County General District Court Judge David Whitacre dismissed the violation charges.
