Jim Barnett Park looked like a trip "back in time" on Saturday.
The 50th Annual Apple Blossom Meet and Cruise-In, sponsored by the Shenandoah Region Antique Automobile Club of America attracted thousands of spectators.
Nearly 200 cars and trucks were on display for car enthusiast to enjoy.
The event originally took place on Handley Avenue and in the Handley Football Stadium in the late 1950s and early 1960s.
It then moved to the Winchester Drive In, until its final move in the early 1970s to Jim Barnett Park.
One thing that hasn't changed in all those years- the participants' love of the vintage vehicles.
"We like the preservation of the vehicles, the originality, and we for the last couple of years have been welcoming the hot rod and cruiser clubs into our midst and we just enjoy the cars for the cars' sake," said Eric Kirk, president of the local club.
The oldest vehicle at the show was a 1910 Haynes Runabout, owned by Jimmie Hatcher of Nanjemoy Maryland.
