People traveling in Front Royal Saturday morning may have noticed an unusual site...
Dozens of Corvettes in the parking lot of Jack Evans Certified GM Used Cars Lot.
The Shenandoah Valley Corvette Club hosted their Spring Skyline Drive Corvette Cruise.
More than 50 Corvette drivers lined up, despite the less than ideal "cruising" weather, for a day of fun and fellowship, and for a good cause.
The annual event, that attracts Corvette drivers from all along the East coast, benefits the Blue Ridge Hospice.
"It was chosen because members of Corvette clubs who own Corvettes have had cancer and have been very happy with the service that Blue Ridge provides for them, and it's just a great organization to deal with," said Ron Place, vice president of the club.
This year's event was held in memory of Chuck McConnell, a Corvette enthusiast who passed away in December of pancreatic cancer.
