An out of state woman is recovering from head injuries, she doesn't remember receiving.
Winchester Police say the 21 year-old woman was in Winchester celebrating the Apple Blossom Festival.
She walked into Bo's Express on Cork Street early Sunday morning complaining of head injuries.
The intoxicated woman told the clerk she wasn't sure how she got the wounds.
Police did find evidence of the crime on Sharp Street and East Lane.
"There's actually a field near that intersection in which some items of evidence were located. We're not sure if that's exactly where the crime occurred. We just know that she was there because we found items of evidence, specifically some blood spots," said Sergeant Amanda Baker of the Winchester Police Department.
The woman was released from Winchester Medical Center on Monday.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Winchester Police.
