It's a playground that has many memories for those in the North End neighborhood.
Last year, neighbors banded together and decided to clean up the park for generations to come.
New playground equipment was installed a few months ago, but the job isn't done yet.
On May 24th, they will have a work day to clean up the park. They'll need help assembling things like grills, park benches, and signs.
"It keeps our community vibrant," said Vivian Walker, President of the North End Citizens Association.
"It's a place where many young and old have always come out."
"Families can come out together, it's nice to have that in this area, a place where families can cook out and watch their kids," said Maggie Lee, Vice President of the association.
"Now they'll have a bench where they can sit and watch their children on the play equipment, they didn't have that before, they had to stand. It's really going to be a way for families to come out and enjoy it together."
The Park project day is on May 24th. They are asking for anyone who is interested in helping to join them.
The North End Citizens Association meets the first Monday of every month, at 7 p.m. at the Douglas Community Learning Center.
