This week's Crime Solvers crime has to do with a strong armed robbery with an assault and battery.

The Frederick County Sheriff's Office is investigating a strong armed robbery and assault and battery that occurred in the 3500 block of Martinsburg Pike.

The victim reported that in the early morning hours of March 8th, 2008, he had accepted a ride to his home with three unknown males in an older model dark colored GMC extended cab pickup truck.

The driver of the vehicle stopped at the Martinsburg Pike address, and two of the males began to assault the victim. They demanded that he give them his money, which he did. The males then got back in the vehicle and drove off, leaving him on a parking lot.
