Richmond Police have released a composite sketch of the second suspect wanted for questioning in connection with the murder of a local Virginia Commonwealth University student.

The suspect is a black male, described as 5’ 3” to 5’ 6” tall with a slim build and weighing approximately 110 pounds.

Richmond Police arrested Howard Reed Scott III, 17, of the 1500 block of Silver Avenue on Thursday in connection with the murder of Tyler J. Binsted, 19, of Mount Jackson.

Binsted was found with a gunshot wound in the 600 block of South Sheppard Street early Thursday morning. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say the only known motive is robbery and the incident was a random act.
