The Woodstock Chamber of Commerce is getting ready for the big Spring fundraiser.

It's the 2nd Annual Chamber Chili Cook Off on Saturday, March 24th from 6 p.m. to midnight.

Wade Zirkle, Board Member for the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce says, "With the Chili Cook Off, we have wine tasting, beer tasting and also a wood splitting competition which brings in eight of the top wood splitters from the Shenandoah Valley. They'll be competing with one another for the Virginia Golden Ax Wood Splitting trophy."

Zirkle says the winner of the cook off will be people's choice.

Each contestant is asked to bring several gallons of chili so organizers expect there to be plenty to go around.

The event will also include live music by The Jerry Wimmer Experience.
