Here are the forecasts for this weekend's race activities:
NASCAR Camping World Truck Series - Michigan on Saturday at Noon ET on SPEED. Cooler air will spill into the region on Saturday behind a cold front. A weak disturbance hanging around will keep a 30% chance of shower in the forecast, otherwise look for a partly cloudy sky with a temperature around 71 degrees at the start of the race.
NASCAR Nationwide Series - Montreal on Saturday at 2 p.m. ET on ESPN. For Friday practice and qualifying, there may be a few thunderstorms around the area. The chance of storms is 60%. The temperature will be in the mid 70s. By Saturday conditions will improve. Expect sunshine along with a few clouds. The race time temperature will be around 73 degrees.
NASCAR Sprint Cup - Michigan on Sunday at Noon ET on ESPN. A cold front pushing through the region will usher in some fall like air for the weekend. It should be dry under a partly sunny sky on Friday afternoon for qualifying. The temperature will be around 72 degrees Friday afternoon. FYI it will be a chilly overnight with temperatures dipping into the upper 40s early Saturday morning. It should be nice for practice on Saturday. On Sunday there is a slight - 30%- chance of a shower under a partly cloudy sky. The temperature will be around 71 degrees at the start of the race.
American Le Mans Series - Road America on Saturday at 3:15 p.m. ET on ESPN 3. Expect some nice weather on Friday and Saturday at Road America, in fact, it will be be a little like fall. For Friday's activities, look for sunshine along with a few clouds. The afternoon high will approach 72 degrees. FYI the overnight low will drop into the lower 50s, so be prepared for a cool morning Saturday. For the race on Saturday, it looks good with sunshine and a few clouds again. The temperature will be around 74 degrees at the start of the race.
