Here are the forecasts for this weekend's race activities:
NASCAR Camping World Truck Series - Chicago on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET on SPEED. High pressure will take control in the region this weekend, and that means good conditions for racing! On Friday look for sunshine and a few passing clouds. The temperature will climb up to 88 degrees. On Saturday, look for more sunshine and warmth. The afternoon high will be around 91 degrees. By race time, look for the temperature to back off a few degrees to 87.
NASCAR Nationwide Series - Chicago on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET on ESPN. The weather is look hot and dry for the race on Sunday thanks to high pressure. By the green flag on Sunday, expect a temperature around 94 degrees. Don't forget the sunscreen!
IZOD IndyCar Series - Edmonton on Sunday at 2:45 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network. For qualifying on Saturday, there is a 60% chance of scattered showers and storms. The temperature will only make it into the lower 70s. On Sunday look for a partly cloudy sky with a 30% chance of storms. The temperature will be a little warmer as some more sun peeks through. Look for a race time temperature around 77 degrees.
American Le Mans Series - Mosport on Sunday at 11:45 a.m. ET on ESPN 3. It looks like a nice weekend to be racing in Canada for the ALMS. On Saturday expect sunshine with a pleasant high temperature of 80 degrees. On Sunday, race day, look for a mostly sunny sky with a temperature around 82 degrees at the start of the race.
