Race Forecasts 4/26

Here are the forecasts for this weekend's race activities:

NASCAR Nationwide Series - Richmond on Friday at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN 2.  High pressure will build into the region on Friday providing mostly sunny skies and a cool northwest breeze.  It will climb into the upper 60s in the afternoon, and by race time it will be around 63 degrees.

NASCAR Sprint Cup - Richmond on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET on FOX.  Conditions look good for qualifying on Friday evening.  Look for sunshine and a few passing clouds with a temperature around 68 degrees.  Things get tricky on Saturday, however, as a front begins to move north from the Carolinas.  A wave of low pressure may develop along this boundary, bringing clouds and rain showers into the Richmond area.  It all depends where the boundary actually ends up.  At this time there is a 40% chance of rain.  Because of the clouds, the temperature will stay in the 60s with a green flag temperature near 64 degrees.

IZOD IndyCar Series - Sao Paulo on Sunday at 11 a.m. ET on NBC Sports Network.  Look for warm and humid conditions with a mix of sun and clouds.  There is a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms.  The temperature will be around 75 degrees at the green flag.

Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series - Homestead on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on SPEED.  It will be partly cloudy and warm on Sunday.  The temperature will climb to around 85 degrees at race time.  Through the afternoon there is a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms.
