Race Forecasts 4/12

Here are the forecasts for this weekend's races:

NASCAR Nationwide Series - Texas on Friday at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN 2. The weather looks good for racing on Friday evening under a partly cloudy sky. It will be warm and windy with a race time temperature around 78 degrees.

NASCAR Sprint Cup - Texas on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET on FOX. Look for warm and windy conditions on qualifying day with a high temperature around 82 degrees. Clouds will be on the increase Saturday as a disturbance comes in from the west. This may cause some severe weather in portions of Texas north and west of the Fort Worth area. There's a slight chance - about 30% - that a storm could move in. The afternoon high will be in the mid 80s with a green flag temp near 81 degrees.

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series - Rockingham on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. ET on SPEED. The weather is going to be gorgeous in Rockingham as high pressure dominates the east. Expect plenty of sunshine with an afternoon temperature around 84 degrees.

IZOD IndyCar Series - Long Beach on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network. There might be some rain around the area on Friday as a low pressure system rolls in off the Pacific, but it will clear out in time for the weekend. It will be a bit windy on Saturday for qualifying under a mostly sunny sky with a temperature around 63 degrees. On Sunday, look for plenty sunshine and pleasant conditions. The temperature will be near 65 degrees.

American Le Mans Series - Long Beach on Saturday at 7:15 p.m. ET on ESPN 3 and 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN 2. Well, it could be a little wet and cool for qualifying on Friday as a low pressure system moves through Southern California. But conditions will improve on Saturday as the wind picks up and the sky turns mostly sunny. The temperature at the green flag will be near 63 degrees.
