Race Forecasts 3/22
Here are the forecasts for this weekend's race activities:
NASCAR Nationwide Series - Fontana on Saturday at 5 p.m. ET on ESPN. The weather is looking good on Saturday with sunshine and a few clouds. The temperature at race time will be around 70 degrees.
NASCAR Sprint Cup Series - Fontana on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET on FOX. Conditions look good for qualifying on Friday afternoon. Look for sunshine with a temperature near 68 degrees. However, on Sunday, an area of low pressure will move into the region bringing an 80% chance of rain from about midday into the night. The temperature will be a little cooler because of the clouds around 64 degrees.
IZOD IndyCar Series - St. Petersburg on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. ET on ABC. Welcome back IndyCar!! It's looking like typical Florida weather: warm with a daily chance of passing showers and storms. For qualifying on Saturday afternoon, look for mostly sunny conditions and a temperature around 83 degrees. Look for more sunshine on Sunday with a race time temperature around 78 degrees. It will be a bit breezy as well with a 30% chance of a passing thundershower.
