Here are the forecasts for this weekend's NASCAR activities:
NASCAR Nationwide Series - Darlington on Friday (5/6) at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN 2. High pressure will slide to the east on Friday, allowing a little bit of moisture to increase in the atmosphere. Regardless, the day should turn out mostly sunny. A weak front will approach the area later in the day, and some clouds will increase along the front. A passing thundershower cannot be ruled out. The afternoon high will approach the upper 70s. By the green flag, expect a temperature around 72 degrees.
NASCAR Sprint Cup - Darlington on Saturday (5/7) at 7:30 p.m. ET on FOX. Conditions look good for qualifying on Friday afternoon under partly cloudy skies. A sprinkle cannot be ruled out with a passing front, but in general conditions look dry. High pressure takes over on Saturday providing beautiful conditions. Don't forget your sunscreen! Skies will be sunny, and the afternoon temperature will top out in the lower 80s. By race time, look for a temperature around 76 degrees.
