Welcome back NASCAR fans!

NASCAR Sprint Cup - Daytona Shootout on Saturday (2/6) at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.  A low pressure system producing large amounts of snow in the Mid-Atlantic will also bring some wet weather to Florida.  A cold front will cross the state on Friday, bringing a band of showers and thunderstorms.  It will be breezy and warm with a good chance of rain in the afternoon and evening.  The good news is it will all be gone on Saturday!  Skies will gradually clear, but it will be cooler with a high only near 65 degrees.  It will be a bit chilly when the race starts with a temperature around 55 degrees.

As always, be sure to tune into Sirius-XM Satellite Radio - Sirius Speedway on channel 128 at 3:30 p.m. ET every Thursday for your NASCAR forecast!  And you can also follow me on twitter:  @WeatherGalCass
