NASCAR Forecast 11/05

Hey, there's a hurricane (as of this morning) in the Caribbean Sea!     Yes, hurricane season continues through November.  Hurricane Ida made landfall in Nicaragua this morning as a category one with winds near 75 mph.  It will weaken into a tropical storm as it remains over land... but it could eventually wind up in the Gulf of Mexico.  (The forecast is very uncertain.)  If you'd like to learn more about Ida, visit this website:  http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/index.shtml

The NASCAR season is nearing the end... this week everyone is racing in Texas.  Here are the forecasts:

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series - Fort Worth, TX on Friday (11/6) at 8:30 p.m. ET on SPEED.  Friday looks like a beautiful day for racing in Texas.  Skies will be mainly clear with breezy conditions.  The temperature at race time will be near 73 degrees.

NASCAR Nationwide Series - Fort Worth, TX on Saturday (11/7) at Noon ET on ESPN2.  The nice weather continues into Saturday.  Look for mainly sunny skies and a warm southerly breeze.  The temperature at race time will be around 74 degrees.

NASCAR Sprint Cup - Fort Worth, TX on Sunday (11/8) at 2:30 p.m. ET on TV3 (ABC).  Conditions look great for qualifying on Friday afternoon.  It will be sunny, breezy, and warm with a temperature around 80 degrees.  On Sunday a weak disturbance will move into the region.  There will be some more clouds in the sky, but there is only a slight chance of a shower.  The temperature will be near 75 at the green flag.
