NASCAR Forecasts 8/12

Updated: Thu 4:05 PM, Aug 12, 2010
Here are the forecasts for this weekend's NASCAR activities:

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series - Darlington, SC on Saturday (8/14) at 7 p.m. ET on SPEED.  A cold front in the region will promote easterly flow, which means you can expect humid conditions along with mostly cloudy skies.  It will still be warm, however, with an afternoon temperature in the lower 90s.  There is a chance of a few showers or thunderstorms.  At race time, the temperature will be around 88 degrees.

NASCAR Nationwide Series - Brooklyn, MI on Saturday (8/14) at 1 p.m. ET on ESPN.  A disturbance will approach lower Michigan on Saturday, and it may bring a threat of rain for the race.  It will be partly cloudy and warm with a race time temperature around 90 degrees.  However, there is a threat of some rain and thunderstorms, so keep an eye to the sky.

NASCAR Sprint Cup - Brooklyn, MI on Sunday (8/15) at 1 p.m. ET on ESPN.  Conditions look good for qualifying on Friday afternoon, although it will be hot with mostly sunny skies.  The temperature will be in the lower 90s.  For race day, expect sunshine along with some clouds.  It looks like a front will push south across the area late Saturday and hopefully clear the region by Sunday.  It won't be quite as hot with a green flag temperature around 85 degrees.
