"I like to see the Grand Marshall because it's different people."
That's Dorothy Estep telling us her favorite part of the parade, and this year's Marshall is Debbie Reynolds.
It's surprises like Debbie that make people really love the parade.
It has all the bells and whistles, but it's more than entertainment.
James Pumphrey tells us, this makes great family moments to cherish.
Pumphrey says, "the time I'm spending with my family. The enjoyment we're having. The toys, the stuff we bought him, and how my son is really getting to open his eyes to a different environment, and, you know, seeing different things and meeting different people." These are things Pumphrey will cherish.
The Cole Brothers Circus was out. The clowns screamed and flew by on motorcycles. They even had the elephants do a little trick, and of course we can't forget about the school bands.
Everybody from John Handley High to the Massanutten Military Academy showed us how to get down.
It was a big mixture of all things fun! Queens, farmers, firemen and more shared the same street and it was all for your pleasure.
Sydney Bobuhl says, this isn't her first time coming and, for her, it's the bee's knees.
The streets of Winchester were lined with spectators trying to get a glimpse of it all.
And that's what we love. The parade is big show meets down home.
