After a fun-filled weekend of Apple Blossom, the festivities wrapped up Sunday afternoon with Weekend in the Park at Jim Barnett Park.
The streets in and around Jim Barnett Park were clogged with cars Sunday morning and afternoon, though, that didn't stop crowds from taking in the action.
Bill Isherwood, a festival patron, said, "Well, it really was pretty easy. We didn't have a lot of difficulty. We parked outside of the park. We didn't come into the park."
Tim Miller, a young volunteer, explained, "It's really fun. It's fun. (What's your favorite part about it?) The camel ride!"
Entertainer, Bob Nickerson, added, "My profession is also my passion."
Nickerson travels all the way from central Pennsylvania to show off a skill that he's developed since the 70s.
"My daughter was born in '76. I started juggling three weeks after she was born. I claim she drove me to juggling," he continued.
It's that light-hearted spirit that's shared by nearly everyone in the park. Even young volunteers enjoy helping out.
Miller continued, "I'm a volunteer putting curtains up on the play thing setting up the games and stuff."
Whether it's a moon bounce, good food, or even an attempt at broadcasting, it's hard to find disappointment during a weekend in the park.
At one point Sunday afternoon, officials said the park ran out of room to park cars. Businesses around the park opened their lots for five to ten dollars.
